My thanks to everyone who joined me and my boys yesterday, helping us through the saddest day.
Our two brave sailors carried their Dad for the last time and shared some precious memories of him. We of course will always carry many more.
Also thank you to those who respected our choice for an intimate family goodbye, but sent your love and thoughts. x

In loving memory of my brother Martin.
You filled a big hole in my life when Lorraine passed away. I will cherish the hours we spent in my loft building a model railway for me, 99 percent of the work being done by you while I took care of the tea and toast etc. I will so miss going to your house and spend time playing trains. Also going to the toy fairs together.
Your loving brother Kev

RIP to a man who was part of my life for longer than my dad was. A man who was always happy to give advice (whether you wanted it or not 😂) and who was much softer than he made out. He loved his family unconditionally and loved my sister to the bitter end for which I am thankful. You will be missed big man 😘 xx
